This beachside resort area was the birthplace of mainland South Australia and was named after the Secretary of State for the colonies, Lord Glenelg.
If you want to just sit and relax by a lovely sandy beach, this is the place to be or if you want to shop in the many stores along Jetty Road you can do that as well.
Some of the best food is available at its many restaurants and cafes. There is something here for everyone.
Ride the tram to Adelaide or visit the Buffalo.
